As a music and culture journalist, I write features, profiles, and op-eds about the intersections of pop culture and power for international magazines and publications including The Guardian, The Baffler, Believer, The Independent, The Outline, CRACK, Time Out, MixMag, AIGA, Broadly, Highsnobiety, Prospect Magazine, FFWD, and more. I also worked on the editorial board of Sleek Magazine for both digital and print productions from 2014–2015.

A few recent highlights? Reporting on how COVID-19 accelerated existing trends in music journalism for The Baffler, diving deep into the music industry’s most unlikely tastemaker for FFWD, and looking into the history of American Idol for a look at how Kelly Clarkson defined the myth of the meritocracy for a generation for The Outline. A full selection of my clips can be found here.

I've also written, edited, and translated fiction and non-fiction texts for a number of books and printed projects, including It's A Gas! (Gestalten), Forever More (Gestalten), VELO City (Gestalten), Puffy Grip Logic (TLTRPreß), and more.
